How To Play
First of all, go to the Login page and click the "New User Register" link. You will need to enter
an e-mail address and password and also a Display Name to display on the site. Once entered you will
need to login and then you can start to add in your predictions for each match.
For each match in the competition, you have to enter what you think will be the final score for that match. You can edit your guesses as much as you like up until kick off time for that match, at which point any predicted scores for that match will become Read Only.
Once the match has finished, (or as soon as possible thereafter) the organiser will update the actual scores for that game and points will be awarded to each participant as follows;
At the end of the group stage, when the organiser Rolls Forward the game to the first knock out stage, then Bonus Points will be awarded to each player based on their "predicted" leagues, as follows;
When we progress to the knock-out stages, there are a number of ways we could calculate the points, but for simplicity, we will use the scores at the end of extra time.
In addition, and to keep everyone interested into the closing stages, there will be additional bonus points for correctly predicting the overall team "placings". Do note however, that your team placings must be completed before the start of the first game in the knock-out stage, as once this has started, the placings will be no longer editable.
The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the tournament.
